Have you ever compared the original Silences (as in this video) with the Sublime version? If so, which do you prefer & why? I am ordering a bottle right now, with the yellow font like yours, though the white-font Sublime is also available. I have never smelled either but I have the option to return my blind buy.

My mother used it more than 40 years ago. When i feel, tears break up from my heart. Probably the best scent what made by Edmond Roudnitska.

Julie, I don't know if you check this channel at all anymore but I'd recommend to you a green perfume I think you'd love: Silences by Jacomo. Its one I've worn and it much in line with Chanel19, strongly green, satisfying and a true bargain. I purchased mine on ebay.

This sounds disgusting, fish, sweat, rotting fruit, garbage. Yuck!

I have worn this all my life from when it first came out. Now I can wear nothing else. Love it!

I tried to Poudre as I love no. 19. I got pepper as a first scent.... not impressed. Good video. Edt is lovely and fresh. Edp is gorgeous, perfect in my opinion.

I smell lots of lily of the valley in the EDP not much more

Recently purchased a bottle, austere is an excellent description. Earthy, green and beautiful. I find it lands between Chanel No19 & Revlon Jontue.

wish you had showed the texture of the hydralight mineral sunscreen, I was looking and waiting to see if there was a white cast, i would have really appreciated if you had showed us the cream on your hand, to show the texture and color.

You know, if you like that sharp greenness from the opening of the EDT, I find I get the same note from Grey Flannel, which I consider something like a men's version of no 19. (It's also so much cheaper!)

The ultra light serum does not have the same amount of the ingredients as the super concentrated one. Thd is the second ingredient in the thicker serum.

Fitst time I smelled this liquid emerald was 1992 at Guarulhos SP Airport. I was waiting for my flight and by those days the "duty free shops" were in the middle os the airport, so there was a Chanel display with some testers, my eyes were imediatly catch by the green liquid, sprayed it...without any expectation ...I was 16 yeats old....went back to my seat....suddenly I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist...I get up and try more two sprays on my neck.... and the action repeated mor 2 times. That was my first bottle of 19.

You are a truly N19 lady. Listening to you and seeing you I can almost smell this fragrance. I love it as well, my favourite from Chanel, highly unappreciated. I am an owner of all concentrations pure perfume, EDT and EDP.

I’m a woman in my 50s and have been wearing No 19 EDT and EDP since I was 19, (in 1986). My Mother bought me my first bottle for my 19th Birthday. I absolutely adore it and it has become my signature scent. I loathe the Poudre though, reinventing a class act rarely works; it’s like someone assuming they can dress Coco better than she did...wrong!
